One of the most valuable activities was teaching the participants how to create a professional profile on LinkedIn. For many, it was the first time they thought about how to present themselves in the digital job market. We discussed writing purpose-driven bios and highlighting skills such as communication, organization, empathy, WhatsApp use, informal sales, or childcare.

We also worked with ChatGPT prompts that allowed them to create their own résumés, even if they had no formal job experience. We showed them how to describe their experiences as mothers, entrepreneurs, or volunteers—and how to turn those life stories into professional strengths.

This knowledge is gold in today’s digital economy. Skills such as customer service, virtual assistance, basic writing, Canva design, social media management, or affiliate marketing can all be learned from home and gradually monetized.
